A copy of the August 2008, National Geographic, with "Persia" on the cover. Be sure you have the map included.

A copy of Three Cups of Tea by  Mortenson and Relin. ISBN 978-0-140303825. The book can be found at any bookstore or ordered online. Amazon.com has several used copies available as well as copies in hardback.  It can also be found at used book stores. This is our parallel reading book for the semester. You will have DEAR time every  day so don't be daunted!
