| Local area studies is a way to better
understand our past in order to evaluate our present and plan for our
future. It makes history immediate and relevant.
Who are the heroes? Who are the villains? What are the events that shaped Marietta, Cobb, Atlanta and Georgia? We will investigate a number of topics and see if we can better understand our collective past.
